We’ve been driving people-focussed content and providing social-proofing with UGC.
What social media strategies are you leaving in 2022? And what are you excited to try in 2023?
Focusing on user-generated content, positive PR stories and short-form video where possible.
I’m very interested in the BeReal app - it seems interesting and fun.
@jcovey I use BeReal and I honestly really like it! Over the years, personally I have been less and less interested in the traditional social media forms. BeReal allows a smaller, more intimate following and allows you to actually… BE REAL! It’s fun - let me know if you try it and what you think!
We’re shifting a large part of our efforts into reels and tiktok.
Utilizing UGC more, in addition to the great ideas mentioned above
Less repetitive, salesy-type content and product promotion and more organic, fun, relatable content involving our staff and local community initiatives.
Try to post more videos
I am late to the post, however, now looking into 2024, we are excited to get more involved in socials for our properties!
We will try videos with tiktok and snap.
Not really my area but we are going to be doing more on Tik Tok
I´m going to be trying out new social media apps to spread the word.
Shfiting to 2024 as well - Over the last year 2023, we focused on consistent vertical video content in our content strategy planning sessions. We also saw that Instagram shifted performance back into carousels, which gives us freedom to leverage our strong photography collection in new ways.
We also build out TikTok and see organic growth and momentum there with a strategy unique to the platform in a low-cost production to sustain the content experience.
We continue to focus on a longer-term mindset with our communities and thoughtful activations. We find that social media is still about sharing quality content and building relationships with the community.
We are adding more videos to our media strategies!
More team curated videos
We want to leave behind the hashtags. And want to start making our social media platforms more personal
I have been posting more videos and have been encouraging the sales team to as well.
Encouraging the most engagement from the teams!
In general, out with making your employees personal accounts part of your strategy, and in with creating genuine opportunities for engagement with new platforms.
I wish we would have left TikTok in 2022…
